A culture of dialogue in Warmia and Masuria
The Borussia Foundation is a cultural non-profit based in Olsztyn, north-eastern Poland. Since 1990 we have built a culture of dialogue and tolerance between people of different nationalities, faiths and traditions — drawing on the multicultural heritage of Warmia and Masuria, the former East Prussia.
We care for the Mendelsohn House — the former Bet Tahara, the first built work of the great architect Erich Mendelsohn (1913) — today a Centre for Intercultural Dialogue.
We also run a publishing house and the quarterly “Borussia”, presenting the literature, history and memory of the Polish–German borderland.
This is a short introduction in English. The full website is available in Polish.
